Suitable for many types of ceramic painting particularly for water colour effects and painting fine detail. A range of 24 semi-moist colours which are concentrated, intense and opaque. Can be brushed on either bisque or greenware. Brush dipped in water lifts colour from the pan. Further thinning with water prepares colour for transparent water effects by brushing. Colours dry quickly and are approximately same tone before and after firing and covering glaze can be applied by brushing or spraying. Pieces are fired to maturing temperature of covering glaze. Pink, maroon, peach, rose and yellow hold colour well up to approx 1100°C. All sets are supplied in hinged lid plastic boxes.
