Now reduction as well as oxidised firing is within reach of everyone

from keen amateur potter to large industrial ceramic producer.

Gas offers many advantages including lower firing costs and faster

firing times. Both G & J are built with lightweight super efficient insulation.

G series

A Laser gas kiln opens up new opportunities in

ceramics. Now reduction firing, oxidised firing, lustre

firing as well as bisque firings can all be done in the

     same kiln

Due to the insulation and burner design, much faster

firings can be achieved, if required.  This will allow

the kiln to be fired then unloaded in a much shorter

time. Of course a traditional slow firing can also be

     done, if required.

The advanced insulation gives much lower firing

costs, and means experimental firings can be carried

     out easily and cheaply.

G & J series kilns are available for natural (piped) or

propane (bottled) gas. They can be fired manually or

automatically with a programable controller. The

larger J series models have centre pivot doors and a

     separate stand.

J Series

The J Series takes the concept of the G series and

builds on the it in size and features.

Additional features include twin spy holes for viewing top

      and bottom variations.

A centre pivot door design which allows the door to swing

round to fold away beside the kiln, saving on valuable

     studio space.

The stand is a separate unit that supports the kiln body

and houses the burner system.  This makes installation

easier and allows improved access for easy maintenance

     to the burner system.

The J series is specifically designed for studio, college

      and light industrial use.

  Advanced Insulation:

J and G series kilns use a variety of insulation materials. We use eight different types, each providing different qualities. Tease are chosen with the help of computer aided design to gain maximum advantage from each specific materials. Some of the materials have excellent insulating properties but need supporting on each side. This includes a microporus material which has the highest insulating value of any material available. Most of these materials are hidden away behind the hot face.

The construction method is a multi layer design. It also has the advantage of the hot face being replaceable should this ever be required whilst leaving the back intact. this design concept provides extremely low firing costs. possible the lowest of any type of kiln on the market.

K Series

The heavy duty range starts with small K series going right up to the industrial P series. Insulation is by high efficiency brick with many unique design solutions.

The K series kilns brings many of the advances introduced on the P series to a smaller range of kilns. Now fro every studio that requires a sturdy industrial gas kiln, there is one available . the same proven construction method and materials are used, except for modular features.

P series

The P Series are modular kilns. This means it is made up of sections. For instance the one illustrated is a four module kiln. This has many advantages. The kiln is easy to install. Each section, or module may be carried through narrow doorways and then assembled. Extra sections can be added later when more capacity is required. All this can be carried out with non technical labour.
